2000s win NYS Title |
|
The LI Royals Peewee Major team came back from Buffalo
with the NYS Championship. Beating Amherst 4-2, Troy-
Albany 9-1, Rochester 8-3, Syracuse 7-4 in the semis and
winning 5-4 in OT against Westchester in the finals. Jason
Ruszkowski "Mr.Clutch" with another GW OT goal.
Congratulation to all the boys and coaching staff for a great
year with plenty of hardware to show for it. |

2000s win AYHL crown in OT thriller |

Congratulations to the Pee Wee Major 2000s squad for
bringing home some hardware in a playoff weekend in
Philadelphia. Jason Ruszkowski with two OT winning goals.
One in the semis vs. Team Maryland and then once more
vs. the Little Flyers in the Championship. Congratulations to
Coach Jack Greig, staff and all players. Nice Job Boys!!! |

Squirt Major wins Springfield Pics |
|
Congratulations to coaches Boris Bykovskiy and Danny Smith and
to the LI Royals Squirt MaJor team for winning the Springfield
Pics tournament with a thrilling 2-1 win over Boston Advantage
on Sunday, November 25.
The boys went 4-1 over the weekend also posting wins against
the Worcester Jr. Sharks, Central CT and the Philadelphia Little
Flyers. |

Mite A to play in Central Park for Hurricane Sandy relief |
|
Please support the Mite A team as they will face the NJ
Avalanche in Central Park on Sunday, December 23 at 9AM with
all proceeds from the game going to support victims of Hurricane
Sandy.
The game, which originally started as hope to replace the Winter
Classic, has turned into a fund raising effort since both teams'
communities were so badly impacted by the storm.
Hockey company CCM will match all donations raised by the

LI Royals Mites shine at NYR competition |
|
For those who might have missed it, Jake Manfre, Joe Sousa
and Matt McCarthy represented the LI Royals Mites in the New
York Rangers Mini 1-on-1 shootout competition on Monday in
Greenburgh, New York.
The boys battled teams from Westchester, Ramapo, Mid
Fairfield and Bronxville.
The team of Joe and Matt, known as Royals Black, finished
third. Matt also teamed up with Jake and together they
made the finals which will be held at Madison Square Garden
during a Rangers game.

2001 Royals win 2012 Warrior AAA Invite |

Congrats to Coach Jack and the entire team for the big Win. The Warrior tournament is one of the top ranked tournaments in the country and this year our own Pee Wee Minor team came home as Champions of the Widow Division.

'01 LI Ducks win Spring Fling |

CONGRATULATIONS TO COACH BILL GUERIN, PLAYERS, AND
STAFF FOR WINNING THE SPRING FLING THIS PAST WEEKEND.
THE DUCKS WENT 3 - 0 IN THE SEEDING ROUNDS. THEY THEN
MOVED ON TO THE SEMI FINALS IN THE GOLD DIVISION
AGAINST PAL SILVER SHIELDS. IN A GREAT GAME THE DUCKS
CONTINUED TO FLY TO THE FINALS WITH A 4 - 2 WIN. THEY
THEN MET TEAM EVO IN THE FINALS WERE THEY CONTROLLED
ALMOST THE ENTIRE GAME WITH A 6 -2 WIN AND TO BRING
HOME THE CHAMPIONSHIP!!!!! CONGRATS DUCKS !!!! |
