Falmouth, MA – The Long Island Royals Mite Development  Black team went undefeated this past weekend in the 2016 Clipper Classic. Along the way, the Royals racked up a win against the Cape Cod Penguins and a pair of wins against each of the two Warwick Waves teams from Rhode Island.  The Royals met up with Warwick again on Monday in the finals where they won by a score of 12-3. Throughout the weekend the Royals only gave up a total of 10 goals in their 4 games.   Congratulations!!!!!!!

West Warwick, R.I.- The 2006 Squirt Minor Long Island Royals team went undefeated with a perfect 7-0 record this past weekend at the Kennedy Memorial. Playing against all EHF and E9 team, both top tier 1 leagues from the New England area.  Beating teams such as the Boston Jr Eagles, Providence Capitals, and New England Falcons. Despite coming down with a few illnesses the 06 team was able to battle through and beat the Boston Jr. Eagles in the final 7-6.

(Kanata, ONT) The LI Royals Squirt Major team traveled up to Ottawa over the holiday break to compete in the 17th annual Bell Capital Cup tournament – one of the largest youth hockey tournaments in Canada. The team ended the weekend with a 3-1-2 record, losing a close game in the semifinals to the Toronto-based Don Mills Flyers. Congratulations to the players, coaches, and parents on a great week of hockey. Go Royals!
