Falmouth, MA—The LI Royals Mite Minor Black team spent the holiday weekend ‘carving up’ the opposition in the Thanksgiving Memorial Tournament in Falmouth, MA.  The team thrived in the 3 on 3 ‘race to the puck’ format and beat the host team 16-11 in the first game to set the tone.  After winning the next two games, the team was seeded 1st and faced Falmouth again in the finals.  Despite the host team being a little older and significantly bigger, Coaches Slevin and Oppedisano prepared their team well and they skated to a 13-8 finals victory!  The team finished 4-0 over the weekend and has now won two consecutive tournaments…..Congratulations!
